I truthfully could not tell you one fact about this group, Pleasure In Pink, other than what I find on Discogs. One 7" single release (this) on Lost Moment Records, and one self-released cassette tape release. I am going to assume they are from somewhere in England.
A 7" single from American group, Bitch Magnet, released on English indie pop label Caff Corporation from 1991. The B-Side was recorded live "somewhere".
Today I decided upon uploading two singles from The Cramps, both released in 1980. The first one being 'Goo Goo Muck' which was originally performed by Ronnie Cook and the Gaylads.
(Liberty Park Recordings – [LPR NO. 3], 1995) [USA]
The only proper release from Illinois emo group, Gila Bend, released in 1995 on Liberty Park Recordings. Similar vein to a lot of the other Illinois emo groups: Cap'n Jazz, Braid, and/or Friction. Nice three little tracks.
Another early 7" single release from Scottish group Aztec Camera, released in 1983. "Oblivious" is also the opening track to their debut album from that same year.
A split 7" single from two east coast indie rock groups: Tsunami (VA) &Velocity Girl (MD). Released in 1992 as the 39th installment and part of Sub Pop Singles Club series, this was JAN 1992.
The first proper release from English indie pop group The Morrisons. Self-Released of 1,000 copies: Sold mainly via mail order, it was also issued with the fanzine 'Especially Yellow' (Issue 8 - Spring 1987).
A 7" single from Japanese indie pop / shibuya-kei group Oh! Penelope -- released in 2017 -- despite featuring two earlier tracks recorded and previously released in the 90s.
A 12" single from Cale Parks (who previously had played in some rock/emo bands that I enjoyed: Joan of Arc and Aloha) but now makes downtempo electronic music that's pretty good too! This one stuck out to me, because on the B-Side his song is remixed by the French electronic outfit Paradis that are exceptional, as well! Who I'll be sharing soon..
A 7" single release from English artist Duffy(Stephen Duffy).Released in 1995. I don't know much about this artist other than he was a founding member and had left Depeche Mode prior to the 80s!
