THE BRENTWOODS - YOU BROKE MY HEART (AND I BROKE YOUR JAW) 7" (ESTRUS RECORDS [ES776], 1995) [USA]

The Brentwoods - You Broke My Heart
(And I Broke Your Jaw) 7"
(Estrus Records – [ES776], 1995) [USA]

What I think is the final 7" release from South City, California, USA lo-fi neo garage punk group The Brentwoods [members of Supercharger and The Trashwomen]. Released on Estrus Records in 1995. The A-Side was originally recorded by Bobby & Sylvia in 1962.

HELEN LOVE - BEAT HIM UP CDEP (DAMAGED GOODS [DAMGOOD 89], 1995) [WALES]

Helen Love - Beat Him Up CDEP
(Damaged Goods – [DAMGOOD 89], 1995) [WALES]

A fun indie pop, high tempo, CDEP from Welsh group Helen Love. This CDEP has an extra track not available on the 7" -- which may be my favorite one of the release!

TEENAGE FANCLUB - THE PEEL SESSIONS 12" (STRANGE FRUIT [SFPS 0811], 1991) [SCOT]

Teenage Fanclub - The Peel Sessions 12"
(Strange Fruit – [SFPS 081], 1991) [SCOT]

A compilation 12" from two different Peel Show appearances by Scottish indie rock group Teenage Fanclub. I guess, I really have an affinity for Scottish groups!

THE BLUEBELLS - CATH 7" (LONDON RECORDS [LON 20], 1983) [SCOT]

The Bluebells - Cath 7"
(London Records – [LON 20], 1983) [SCOT]

An early 7" single release from Scottish indie, kinda folksy, rock group The Bluebells. From 1983 on London Records. I really love this A-Side, the melody gets stuck in my head all day and I need to listen over and over.
