The second single release from The Jesus & Mary Chain, in support of their first album Psychocandy, with two non-album B-Side tracks. More noise and distortion.
The first release by Scotland's The Jesus & Mary Chain and also an early release on nascent record label Creation from 1984. The band really delivers on the the wall-of-sound with grating and squealing feedback.
Another 12" single from My Bloody Valentine, their third release this time on Lazy Records. Again, still before the introduction of Bilinda Butcher to the group, but still getting closer to their more familiar sound. Love these lyrics -- if you really listen closely...
The second 12" single release from My. Bloody Valentine. Released on Kaleidoscope Sound in 1986, with Dave Conway doing some vocals and prior to Bilinda joining the group. You can hear the beginnings of them coming into their 'sonic sound.' Some of my favorite MBV stuff is this 80s indiepop/twee stuff before the full on shoegaze records.
