The Summer Hits are probably one of my favorite bands doing the whole noisy indie rock thing in the early 90s. Awful recordings, that also only adds to the charm of these drawn out lo-fi / psychedelic / indie surf rock. This one on Christmas Records (Ho Ho! it's Chriastmas today!) from 1993. Sad to have heard recently that the singer, Rex, passed away recently at the age of 47.
