(Sha La La Flexis [ba ba ba-ba ba 004], 1987) [UK]
A four song flexi disc from The Poppyheads released in 1987 on Sha La La Flexis. Originally released with the fanzines "Are You Scared to Get Happy? #6" and "373 miles is a very long way issue 1."
A later 7" single from Bristol, England's Secret Shine that was not officially released, I believe. After they were on Sarah Records, this one is a little more shoegaze. Two songs from 1995.
Another split 7" flexi from Jesse Garon & The Desperadoes, this time with fellow UK group, The Fizzbombs. Released in 1987 on Noakes. The two bands, both from Edinburgh, both share some members.
A little bit of history with this 7" single from The Sea Urchins, that happens to be the first release on the immaculate Sarah Records. Released in 1987. Three songs.
Don't let the band name get you down, Choo Choo Train definitely has some good indie pop songs! Two of them are here on their first 7" single on Picture Book from 1987.
Rhode Island's, Choo Choo Train (Ric Menck & Paul Chastain), second 12" single released on Bristol, UK label Subway Organization from 1988. (Again, I tried to add the version with more tracks, the 12" has 3! extra songs than the 7". Enjoy!)
A late-90s CD from Dan Treacy and Television Personalities playing a variety of cover songs (Razorcuts, Tronics, Modern Lovers, +) plus some original/live songs with Jowe Head. Released 1998 on Damaged Goods.
