A 3-song CDEP release from California indie rockers The Tyde. Released on Rough Trade in 2002. One extra track on the CDEP that's not on the 7" version.
VA - Flex Your Specs: The Ringing Ear Records Sampler CD
(Ringing Ear Records – [RER 014], 1996) [USA]
A compilation sample CD release from Ringing Ear Records from about 1996. It has some lo-fi indie / pop punk tracks -- the ones that stand out for me are obviously New Sweet Breath, Sinkhole, and Huffy!
I don't know much about this band, but I can hang with this LP from Heavy Hawaii that fits in well with all that other California lo-fi indie rock stuff that was happening around 2009-2013ish.
Maybe their best track, Lust For Life, by San Francisco act Girls. Released as a 7" in 2008, and later released again as a 7" with a different B-Side in 2009. I believe these are different versions than the LP version -- though they sound pretty similar to me.
(Lada Records – [LKS 00008], Jacobiberg Records – [LKS 00008], 1996) [NED]
A 7" single release from Dutch stoner metal group Cromlech, a split release between two Dutch labels originally released in 1996. Features two klassic kover songs one of 'Be Forewarned' originally by Macabre and the B-Side is a MC5 track, Rocket Reducer No. 62.
Seagull Screaming Kiss Her Kiss Her - Losey Is My Dog 7"
(A Trumpet Trumpet Records – [tt 007], 1993) [JP]
The first single release by Japanese group [with one of the most obnoxious band names..] Seagull Screaming Kiss Her Kiss Her. Released on esoteric short-lived Japanese label A Trumpet Trumpet Records in 1993.
The Japanese CDEP release of Dinosaur Jr.'s 'Whatever's Cool With Me' released in 1991. This release has two exclusive live tracks that probably have since been re-released elsewhere -- but for a while they were only available here on this Japanese released EP.
