Three catchy songs from Japanese indie twee pop ground The Penelopes on Spanish label Elefant Records from 1994. I am definitely fond of 90s British indie pop -- but especially so if it's Japanese pop music attempting to sound like British indie pop. Which, lucky for me, there are a loads of bands from Japan who are influenced by the British music scene and it just makes for the perfect blend!
