HARRIET THE SPY & FAT DAY - SPLIT 7" (DONUT FRIENDS [#46], 100% BREAKFAST! [100BR-014], 1998) [USA]

Harriet The Spy & Fat Day - Split 7"
(Donut Friends – [#46], 100% Breakfast! – [100BR-014], 1998) [USA]

Another Split 7", this time between Kent, Ohio emo group Harriet The Spy and Cambridge, MA noisecore group Fat Day. I absolutely love everything from Harriet The Spy, and their home label Donut Friends. Really great stuff as a whole [the musc and especially the art!]. But, this is the one instance that I think the other band really outshines Harriet The Spy and that is Fat Day with some crazy mind rot.

JEROMES DREAM & JULY - SPLIT 7" (HIT THE GROUND RUNNING [#3], 1999) [USA]

Jeromes Dream & July - Split 7"
(Hit The Ground Running – [#3], 1999) [USA]

A split 7" release between two vastly different 'emo' groups. Jeromes Dream with their brand of 'emo-violence' and July with their acoustic-emo song. The only song recorded and released by July, which on the insert states was Gabe + Herb, from North Carolina. July's song is fantastic and the reason for owning this split -- only wish they recorded and released more! This single July track closed out many a mixtapes back in the day.
